I'm Basch von Ronsenburg!(that is, the STAT Luck doesn't do anything, obviously luck IRL plays a significant role)LvlDiff = 40 + Attacker's Level - Target's LevelLvlFactor = [512 * LvlDiff / 100]Base Chance = Item Chance * LvlFactor / 256Item is stolen if Rnd(0...63) is less than or equal to Base Chance. Convert into a percentage by adding 1 to Base Chance and dividing by 64.Item Chance is always either 8, 32 or 63, depending on who you're stealing from and what item it is. In this case it's 32.Plugging the numbers in for Aeris:LvlDiff = 40 + 10 - 24 = 26LvlFactor = [512 * 26 / 100] = 133Base Chance = 32 * 133 / 256 = 16.625[16.625 + 1] / 64 = 26.6% chance of stealing itemCloud and Barret's Base Chance works out to 16 giving them the same success rate as Aeris despite being one level lower. Red's chance is 25% and Tifa's is 23.4%.Music: "Money" by Pink Floyd. Honestly, there wasn't any choice in the matter this time.
