So after the unexpected amount of views the last video got, ('Did Coldplay copy Joe Satriani?') i made this mashup of the two songs during a plane journey. The qualitys not great, and some ppl may be upset with Chris Martin sounding like hes been neutured, but i like it. It reminds me of Kanye West songs where he puts voices high up. I might put up another version another time. Till then, feel free to comment, feedback or viciously attack. Also, a few things about the last video. Firstly the fact that i changed the keys of the songs. Well of course i did. What do you think the odds are of the songs fitting EXACTLY on top of each other with no alterations? No chance whatsoever. I thought people would recognise the fact that i changed the keys and tempo as soon as they heard it. Obviously not.People seemed to think i was suggesting the songs had the same TEMPO and KEY. I wasnt trying to trick anyone into believing this at all, the point of the video was to show they have similarities rhythmically and harmonically. And it doesnt take a 'music major' to work out,'Woah! They are not in the original keys!' Anyone with functional ears should hear that straight away. And the coldplay track is not raised 'an octave', if it was then it would be in the same key as the original. The overall point of the video is to show how Viva La Vida is just so unoriginal, and if any band other than coldplay wrote it, it wouldnt get any attention at all.To those who left nice comments, thankyou and hope you enjoy this mash-up.I.G.S.L.N
