Nobody Home (Revised)

Same version of the song but rejiggered the slides and acknowledged the photos that I could. Written collaboratively with Ed Goldin and Sean Lloyd. Probably the darkest thing I've ever done. Sort of a call to arms... This world keeps spinnin' around It's out of control, out of control. Can't grab a hold, As hard as we try. Can't keep our feet on the ground It's getting so cold, getting so cold. Our time's runnin' out, Just look at the signs. Pick up a newspaper - what do you read? Tales of ignorance and greed. Our leaders are mindless, They don't care if we're cut to the bone, Why? Ain't nobody home. Some people are cryin' with rage They're hungry and hurt, hungry and hurt. Got nowhere to go, Nowhere to hide. Others are silent as stone Look out for themselves, they're out for themselves. Compassion is lost, They live on their pride. They only see balance sheets and - bottom lines. Only see gold, steel and chrome. They don't see the children lyin' cold and alone, Why? Ain't nobody home. We gotta come to ourselves Before it's too late, before it's too late. Gotta stop now, The world is at stake. If not, the ones that we love, the ones we think of, Won't matter at all. We gotta put on the brakes. We're headin' to nowhere, With nothin' to gain. The world's a dark, combat zone. Unless we slow down We'll soon come to the end. And find - there's still nobody home. And find - still nobody home. Lyrics: Ed and Larry Goldin Music: Ed and Larry Godlin and Sean Lloyd 2004
