PLEASE READ:The project:The project was very simply to see if I can get about 30+ YTbers to say 98 lines of poetry to piece them together to form 7 sonnets. You guys will be the judge if it worked or not but I am thankful to all of them for taking time from their busy lives to submit the lines.I was going to put an interpretive blurb here about each of the sonnets, but then figured each one should interpret these lines thru the lens of their own life's loves and circumstances. This is sonnet # 14 for the Sonnets from the Portuguese series by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, written ca. 1845--1846 and first published in 1850. See part 1 for more information. If thou must love me, let it be for noughtExcept for love's sake only. Do not say"I love her for her smile--her look--her wayOf speaking gently,--for a trick of thoughtThat falls in well with mine, and certes broughtA sense of pleasant ease on such a day" -For these things in themselves, Beloved, mayBe changed, or change for thee,--and love, so wrought,May be unwrought so. Neither love me forThine own dear pity's wiping my cheeks dry, -A creature might forget to weep, who boreThy comfort long, and lose thy love thereby! But love me for love's sake, that evermoreThou may'st love on, through love's eternity.Youtubers - in order of appearancehttp://www.youtube.com/Pippillyhttp://www.youtube.com/timido66http://www.youtube.com/Fringe111http://www.youtube.com/SunnyDazStormyNitzhttp://www.youtube.com/Perroquet51http://www.youtube.com/blinkazoidhttp://www.youtube.com/adnerb924http://www.youtube.com/LeSaMilanohttp://www.youtube.com/nancyleeouldhttp://www.youtube.com/RoyalHairdresserhttp://www.youtube.com/ohCurthttp://www.youtube.com/sweetqueento3http://www.youtube.com/Stephstancehttp://www.youtube.com/hippiefied1Shakespeare's sonnet #18, is another one of his best known -- especially the opening verse.Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?Thou art more lovely and more temperate:Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,And summer's lease hath all too short a date:Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;And every fair from fair sometime declines,By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;But thy eternal summer shall not fadeNor lose possession of that fair thou owest;Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,When in eternal lines to time thou growest:So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,So long lives this and this gives life to thee.Youtubers - in order of appearancehttp://www.youtube.com/LisaAsteriskhttp://www.youtube.com/OHdulceneahttp://www.youtube.com/wpgpeanuthttp://www.youtube.com/mtamorphishttp://www.youtube.com/SunnyDazStormyNitzhttp://www.youtube.com/anakin1814http://www.youtube.com/alphaba2http://www.youtube.com/dl737http://www.youtube.com/nbwulfhttp://www.youtube.com/Blizzeekittyhttp://www.youtube.com/MsOpheliaPaynehttp://www.youtube.com/suburbanmomhttp://www.youtube.com/gwabirhttp://www.youtube.com/flydarlingMusic: Skye Cuillin by Kevin MacLeod.
