Peru was a Dutch electronic music (synthesizer) band. The group began in 1979 with Peter Kommers and Ruud van Es, who used their first names for the band name: PE(ter)-RU(ud). Rob Papen was quickly added. They released many cd's with electronic music, varying from electronic ambient to dance. Rob Papen and Ruud van Es are still active in the producing of music, however no longer under the name Peru."tears" is from their 1991 album "Moon".http://www.hnsstudio.nl/http://www.music.robpapen.com/
