Videopoesia de Mari Rizzo sobre música homônima de Rodolfo Valente."Prólogo Provisório" is the first from a series of short pieces whose raw sound material consists of analog sonorities generally unwanted in the studio: equipment background noise, hiss, bad contact, humming, feedback and so on. This is material I have been collecting over the years as "debries" of previous works. It has then been mostly submitted to different kinds of filtering, being curious the alternative use of "noise reduction" plug-ins for colouring and textural purposes. The results (together with raw sounds) were then submitted to intense montage, aiming to form a very intuitive but coherent gestural discourse.The name in the piece suggests it should be played before any other piece in a concert. Its companion pieces are "interferência intermédia" and "epílogo, epigrama". An ideal situation recommends the first should be played in the beginning of the concert, the second somewhere in the middle and the third at its very end.
