Kayoco, who is playing on home turf at the Tokyo xXx, will be knocking back sake like theres no tomorrow with 2ManyDJs, Gus Gus, A-Trak, Sam Sparro, Bonde do Role and about a gazillion more. Blessed with a super soulful voice and an ear for the sublime, Kayoco classes herself an organic soul singer. Although heavily influenced growing up in Nagano, you can hear the influences after studying in the US in her songs: her voice touches Jill Scott and the production a bit of Lucy Pearl. Not to be unexpected when she worked with the likes of Dennis Montgomery and Armasted Christian - the latter a former Diana Ross cohort, the former a Gospel leader.
