The Myers Project was born in the summer of 2006 when it's lead singer, Chris Myers, began recording his first "solo" demo at The Lodge Recording Studios in Indianapolis. This project consisted of a number of individuals, thus adapting the name "The Myers Project." Chris Myers was, at that time. attending Purdue University on a full music scholarship to perform in The Purdue Varsity Glee Club. With this opportunity, Chris performed in over 100 performances all over the Midwest, as a soloist in Carnegie Hall, and on a tour of the UK. His time at Purdue was interrupted when he signed a five-year recording contract with Sony Music/Epic Records in Germany. In this whirlwind year, Chris was involved in two single releases, the recording of an album, two video shoots, numerous live television performances, and a nation-wide tour. All of this following his Freshman year at Purdue. However, before the album was released, Chris decided to return to college to pursue and finish his studies. Graduating on August 4, 2007, Chris headed straight into the studio to finish recording his demo. Now, the time has come for THE MYERS PROJECT to be released. Performing is Chris Myers' passion. Entertainment is Chris Myers passion. It is time to share this passion with the world...
