Although it is widely known as the British National Anthem, "God Save the Queen", an American named Samuel F. Smith added new lyrics to the melody in 1831 and it became well known as an American patriotic hymn. It was soon recognized as America's unofficial National Anthem, but was officially replaced by the adoption of "Star Spangled Banner" in 1931.The reason I picked this song is because there aren't many patriotic songs you can play on a 4 hole ocarina, lol. And I think I should note that I'm blowing in the Eagle's tail, despite what others are suggesting.
