Copenhagen, DENMARK - 1982 World Figure Skating Championships, Ice Dancing - Free Dance. Before Belbin and Agosto, there was Judy Blumberg & Michael Seibert who were America's top couple. I believe they were 4th here and won the bronze at the 1983 Worlds. They were poised to win an Olympic medal in 1984 until the Italian Judge / Music fiasco (see the 1984 Olympic Free Dance Video). Instead, they were 4th at the Olympics and ended being 3 time World bronze medalists (bronze at the 1985 Worlds as well). Here, they perform their trademark Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire ballroom dance routine.
