Close To You, which was composed by Livingston, Lampi, and Hoffman, and recorded in 1956 by Frank Sinatra with Capitol Records, was very, very popular; and should not be confused with the Carpenters' recorded song with the same title. I used to have a 45 RPM release record flipsided with "With Every Breath I Take". Sorry, I don't have that record anymore, so, just listen to my voice.
