The weekend after the planes struck the Twin Towers, I visited New York. As I wandered around the city, the outpouring of music struck me as the only language that articulated the invisible grief and shock being felt by New Yorkers everywhere, so I decided to document some of these musical performances. This video features two drummers and a trumpeter performing on Fifth Avenue.
