Bolivian Baroque is here thanks to a recent discovery in the 400 year old jesuit missions in the Bolivian jungles. Old musical scrolls of baroque music have been rediscovered and has inspired some modern pieces like this piece by Henry Villca of Bolivia which fuses Andean and Classical Baroque music. The CD, from Channel Classics, has a selection of authentic baroque pieces over 300 years old.

Dayton High School's Night of the Arts featured staff and members of the World Music Club playing Chiquitina on zampoñas. The group was accompanied by Duo Kantu, Machu Picchu, Peru (formed by Sra Lozada Ocampo's husband, Carlos Ocampo, and brother-in-law, Marco Antonio Ocampo).
