The house was so lonely. Mother was always afraid... and mad. Looking back I am glad we had Grandma. She knew what to do to her. Grandma went to the back room and gave her that drink. But.... that part's a little fuzzy...and dark.A simple Saturday morning vocoder improvisation on a made up story.

There are two ways to play an instrument for me, anyway. One, is to learn the instrument. Scales and etudes and the like. The other is to experiment with sounds. While I am working on scales I took a break to create my first piece... just with sounds and patterns on the Axis. This is my first full day of ownership... but let's call it day two. I did a test download of a new operating system for it. There is software to do that. This time I just reloaded the latest version, which was already on it. The video is taken, quickly, from an Internet archive of open source film. I applied a few effects and did some low level editing.
