Palestine TV is a new channel launched by independent individuals of Palestinian descent living in the Netherlands, as a means to express their views and as a channel for Palestinian culture, which is being kept alive in the diaspora.The idea is to be presenting a new episode periodically - aiming at a minimum of approximately once a month. We know no realistic way to avoid politics, so we will simply tell you about our culture, hoping you will learn to understand more about the Palestinians.Since we are Netherlands-based, we would greatly appreciate it if our Dutch and other pro-Palestinian allies join in making this attempt at independent media a succes! We also invite young people to volunteer in helping us make this channel interesting to the present-day generation.We hope to be interviewing many of you, especially those among you who have a project or organisation that engages itself with Palestinian issues, hoping to provide you with an extra way to gain attention for your efforts.But we also wish to be able to show you how Palestinian meals are cooked, how Palestinians dance, what music they make, who their writers and thinkers are, and what kind of traditional outfits they have been wearing throughout the years. Since Youtube limits films to 10 minutes, this will be the regular length of each episode.
