Just a little sample of how a Swedish wooden lur sound like. As you notice I only play 2 notes (I'm able to reach a higher 3 tone, but it doesn't sound stable and confident yet). If you are really good you can play a few more notes from the natural register. the Näverlur is a part of the so-called fäbod culture. I use a Shure SM57 microphone for recording the näverlur in this clip. Then I'm using a Hall Church preset reverb in Cubase 4.
