Jewish-Israeli and Palestinian singers and musicians joined together to perform the Hebrew-Arabic song "Hevenu Shalom Aleinu" (We Brought Peace Upon Us) - "Ma Ana Ajmal Min Salam" (There is Nothing More Beautiful Than Peace).Sung in both Hebrew and Arabic, this Middle-Eastern-Jewish-style inspiring, jazzy song challenges us to overcome decades of hatred and violence, and replace them with human rights, multiculturalism, and appreciation of the common humanity of both people. To paraphrase JFK, ask not what they can do to end violence and occupation, but what you can do for Israeli-Palestinian peace. Here are some suggestions: 1) Simply send this link to your mailing lists to inspire people to act as peacemakers; 2) donate whatever you can to humanitarian initiatives, such as the upcoming "Break the Gaza Siege" (www.freegaza.org); and 3) plan a trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories to see for yourself. DJ Gervais, reconnu depuis plus de dix ans dans les soirées organisées par les grandes agences évènementielles a fait danser aussi bien Mick Jagger, que le show bizz international. Il a joué sur la même scène que tous les acteurs de Blues Brothers 2000 et BB King réunis lors de la présentation au Festival de Cannes en 1998, en passant par les soirées pour les parfums Dior, Vivendi, TF1, RTL, Lagardère Active Publicité, Universal Music, 13ème Rue, etc. Il a crée son label Ethnic Music en 2006, pour produire ses compositions. C'est alors qu'il s'est associé à un compositeur du Conservatoire National de Paris pour faire revivre la voix de cette immense artiste des années folles. Ensemble, ils ont remixé la voix parlée de Joséphine Baker. Les titres nés de cette collaboration passent régulièrement dans les soirées, à chaque fois le public est enthousiaste. Deux ans après, le travail de ces deux artistes donne naissance à un album hommage à ce personnage mythique du music-hall des années 30. L'un des titres phare'' Arc en Ciel '' avec son refrain universel, fait actuellement l'objet de street-marketing sur des plates formes de DJ's à Londres et à Paris.
