Now available at Amazon, this new novel is a chance to hang out in the mind of a champion fiddler and instrument maker, and to chill in the heat of an intensely musical life. Scroll and curl, of course, refer to the aspects of a violin. Scroll and curl are plot dimensions as well, and relate to the life style of the characters presented. A fun book, with many players, drawn from the life of the author, John Pedersen. In this video, he hosts and leads a party in his Marin, California music store. Scroll and Curl is his first novel. (You can buy the novel in his store too, and get him to sign it while you're there.)

I learned this tune from a brilliant guitar player named Mats, at the Gränna festival last year. I haven't practiced a lot but since I got my new mandolin I've played it a lot. I'm not brilliant at playing it but I really love this tune!
