A lot was announced but most of what was mentioned was already rumored. Overall, I think the updates are cool but nothing announced is making me want to run out to the store and buy it now.Anyway, apple has released a new version of itunes which includes the genius playlist which automatically finds similar songs in your music collection. NBC and their TV shows will also be returning to itunes.As for ipods, the 4th generation ipod nano as announced. This design changes the nano from a horizontally challenged device to a tall MP3 player. The ipod classic get a HD bump. The shuffle now ships in new colors and the ipod touch was changed. Apple even announced iphone/ipod touch software 2.1 for release Friday, September 12th, 2008. Steve mentions how this is a huge update and will improve the entire device.
