This was taken at the Mother Temple in Besakih, at the foot of Mt. Agung, in Bali, Indonesia. This was during a ceremony which usually involves the whole village and occurs at the new moon (if I'm not mistaken). However, when I went there my friend Wayan said that many of the villagers were at home preparing for Galungan, which was on the next day, a massive Balinese Hindu festival.Still, this ceremony (which consisted of walking to all of the main temples, accompanied by the Baleganjur gamelan) was still pretty full of people!!By the way, it's worth watching the very end, the view is amazing! Although it's really dark, darker than the original un-uploaded version.. weird. Sorry it was in the evening!
