Enjoy!Filmed by Rasa Vigraha Das, Edited By Harry Symons.This is a story of holy India filmed by Rasa Vigraha, a devotee in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.Armed with a Sony Handycam he attempted to capture the sights and sounds of India. He visited the snow capped mountains of the Himalayas, visited holy temples in Badrinath as well as the source of the holy Ganges River, Gangotri. He joined the Vraja Mandala Parikrama, a month long pilgrimage in the holy land of Lord Krishna, filmed the New Delhi Jaganatha Ratha Yatra, an ancient festival in a modern city, and finalised his pilgrimage in the most merciful Mayapur dhama.Returning back from India he entrusted myself, Harry Symons, to edit more than 20 tapes down to a short film.

Greetings,Working together to continue the legacy of the 37th Annual International African Arts FestivalThe 37th Annual International African Arts Festival starts Thursday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 6th, from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm, at the spacious Commodore Barry Park, at Park Avenue and Navy Street Downtown Brooklyn, NY 11205.Festival goers will gather each day to enjoy live music, dance, spoken word performances, African marketplace, showcase performances, fashion, and hair shows. Children of all ages can enjoy an exciting children's program featuring storytelling, clowns, and a youth talent search. This year's theme is "Akili na Moyo" which means MIND & HEART in the language of Swahili.The 2008 Festival is dedicated to the legacy and memory of one of the Festival founders, Mzee Moyo. The family of organizers, activists, volunteers, vendors, artists and audiences pay tribute to his legacy. We also acknowledge everyone, who has helped over the past 37 years to build this institute of culture and commerce. Due to the challenging economic climate, the support of the community is needed to produce this year's event.
