Unexpectedly applying a Baroque template to her opera, post-minimalist composer Elodie Lauten set a libretto by Michael Andre about the mysterious disappearance of 60s conceptualist Ray Johnson, who is metaphorically staged as the mythical Orfeo with a slight name modification: Orf-Ray-O.
