Amber was walking downstairs and heard a car horn go off. Amber was really envious of Heather's white lambrigini. She smiled and ran downstairs and out the door and jumped in the car."Happy Birthday Amber!" Heather said while pulling out a present. Amber smiled and Heather drove off. Amber opened it to find it empty. Amber laughed and said, "Heather, It's the thought that counts, but it's empty." Heather turned and looked in the bag. "Hm..I guess it is. Maybe it's because it's right here in my pocket." Heather said as she slowly reached for her pocket and took out three pass looking things.Amber took them, and looked at it. "What is it?" she asked very curiously. "Well, I sort of have a confession...but I can't tell you now. I'll meet you at your house after you're done working at 5, and I'll show you." Amber was extremely confused. Where was Heather planning to take her? "Alright," she said but then remembered, "Are we picking up Taryn?" "Yeah. We'll be at her house in a minute. But until then, here's some breakfast. I can't believe Debbie and the two doofus dwarfs made you make breakfast for them on your birthday!" Heather said in shock. Amber opened the case, and saw eggs, sausage, and small pancakes. Amber's eyes opened wide and she asked, "I am allowed to eat all of this?" Heather looked at her weird. "No. I'm going to eat it, I just wanted to ask you which one I should eat first. Of course it's for you! Live it up kid. It's your sweet sixteen!" Amber had a big smile and started eating her food. "What time is it?" Heather asks without taking her eyes off the road. Amber takes out her phone but it's not working. Amber replies, "my phone's not working. But your car clock says 6:30 A.M.They arrived at Taryn's house and Heather honks the horn. Soon enough, Taryn comes running out. "Bye mom! See you at 2:30!" she said while she ran for the car. She get's in and hands Amber a box with wrapping on it. "Happy 16th birthday amber!" Taryn said with a proud smile. Amber starts ripping the paper off and says, "Thanks Taryn! It's kind of weird getting gifts." "Oh yeah!," Heather starts to say, "it's DEFINITALY weird getting presents on your birthday!" Taryn and Amber started laughing hysterically. "You know what I mean! Debbie, Eliza and Lola find it the perfect day to drive me hard." Amber said while she finished off the last bit of her breakfast.Taryn pats her on the back and replies, "Well, we're not them. We're your best friends! We've known you since the age of 10! Just open my present." Amber opens the gift and there lies a pink razor phone. "Oh wow Taryn! This is so great! Thank you!" Amber said opening it from the case. "Yeah I programmed it like a minute ago." Amber takes out her old phone. "No wonder why it stopped working!" They all laughed and 20 minutes later arrived at school. Of course everyone runs up to Heather. Amber knows people only act this way because she's rich. But she always wondered where she get's all that money.Taryn looks over at Amber who is staring out in the distance. "Hey Amb, I have something a little extra for you on your phone. I know how much you love the Jonas Brothers, so I programmed their CD on there." Amber zoned back in and got very excited. She took out her razor, opened it, and pressed the music button and sung along quietly to when you look me in the eyes. "♫ If the heart is always searching can you ever find a home ♫" "Tell me again why you're not famous?" Taryn said with a smile. Amber gave her a weird look, "HAH! That's a good one Taryn!" "Well, I mean seriously Amber!" Taryn says with dedication in her voice. "You have the best voice I have ever heard! It's Cali baby! This is where dreams come true! You've got a good location, a great voice, and you're not trying anything." Amber closed her eyes and sighed.After school, Heather and Taryn are waiting for Amber in the car. "She's going to be mad that you didn't tell her you are Miley's back up dancer AND COUSIN!" Taryn said in hushed tones. Heather looked guilty and replied, "Well, that pass tonight is for a masked Halloween dance at Miley's house. It's going to be the biggest bash in Hollywood! She won't be that mad!" Taryn gave her a look. Heather starts again, "S-She'll be mad at you too!" Taryn's jaw dropped, "But I'm not the one who lied to her for 6 years never telling her why you're rich, and why you have to leave for months all the time and telling her it's for a family vacation when it's for a Miley Cyrus Tour!" Heather says back, "Well, you knew! You could've told her I was Miley's cousin! But you didn't, so we're both in trouble!" Taryn started to put and leaned back in her chair. "Fine," Taryn says feeling defeated. "We'll both say we're extremly sorry we lied to her, and hopefully she'll be up for the masked Halloween dance at Miley's."
