"Shadow in the Fire" Version 1, Act 3, sc. 5. Part 20 of 23.This is the second dungeon scene with Bianka and I. (you can't really see me in this one, I am sitting off to the side) Here is the better part of Bianka's nature seen. She's dwelling on the fact that she's been locked up, and to show for that, I purposely put "down here" at the end of all her lines. However, doing so made this the hardest scene in the play to do, if you believe it! Due to the fact that all her lines ended the same, it was much more difficult to remember cues, and one or two of Bianka's lines are similar, and so both nights, I screwed up the order of my lines, causing Charmian (Rachel) to enter late.(For the second show, though, she had been listening to music backstage and someone rant to get her. Meanwhile, Erin (Bianka) and I were through with our lines, and so I began to ad-lib and Erin caught on quickly until Rachel entered. I do hope you'll stop back to see that scene from Version 2!)The lights came up too soon, as well, for we were already supposed to be onstage since we were already in the dungeon. You'll need to raise the volume on this one, again.
