This was the first video we made (thank you Papas!) for our Show M´Água (a dance/music Show choreographed by me and danced by myself and Mafalda DeVille, who also helped with the choreography, with the Music part in charge of the wonderful Abel Arez, and with the participation of dancers and percussionists from Algarve). It was performed at the exquisit Teatro das Figuras in Faro, Portugal.The Show is mainly about the tales/legends of the Moors in Algarve but also other traditions and folklore that still permeate Portuguese culture and how it´s presence and memory carries on.So me and Mafalda played a British couple visiting the Algarve for a surprise wedding trip without friends or family, obviously to enjoy the sun, sea and sand by ourselves, but we get more than we bargained for: we get the Moorish Princess Cássima, and some other less benevolent creatures from Portuguese folklore :-)
