Dubbed as one of Canadas finest imports Ivana Santilli has had success with previous albums and her first ever group effort, Bass is Base. After all these years people still havent forgotten that one... but nowadays she has risen to the top and been busy touring with large scale shows performing with De La Soul, Jamiroquai and also the late James Brown. Today she works the stages in London & New York and various other venues along the way belting out her infectious and sultry voice. The title track Tony is a perfect example of how she tries to be at two places in her life still upholding her genuine energy with an upbeat poppy funk melody thrown in for good measure. Ivana is agreeably one songwriter who can take the sweet soulfulness of R&B and intermingle it with softer characteristics of danceable electronic beats. Some of the 80s esque songs remind you of a time that is much forgotten when song writing was a strength not many could harness easily. The slow jams prove that with the flowing ballads and divine lyrics. Its very easy to see that Ivana Santilli loves to keep herself happy and Im sure as the word spreads with TONY her fans will be awaiting her next stop over in their fair city.

Nice little groove from Lem, she's done quite a few background vocals and written some tunes for others...
