In Spring of 2007, Reagan Middle School performed three of their UIL music, two in which one had to be a march and the other a slow piece; a third song was optional. Out of fifteen other middle school bands that went that day, they were one of the two schools that left with straight ones. This piece, Kamarinskaja, was the last of the three songs they had played.The judges were amazed at how well we played, one of them noted that we didn't have any percussionist and hadn't said it, or to be more exact, commented until the very last minute.--Okay, I must say, this was my favorite song out of all the UIL music my band had played, as well as the majority of the band. Needless to say, we did really well with this piece. We were over joyed when our band director, Mr. Wood, came out with this plaque and gladly declared that we made all 1's on our music.And yes, we do NOT have any percussion people.
