Billed as the "music troupe for the pirate in everyone" in the 2007 Program Guide for the Texas Renaissance Festival, the Bilge Pumps are very well known for their wacky, sometimes ribald, sense of humor. Who else but a Bilge Pump would lick the lens of a camcorder during the TRF Noon Parade on Halloween Weekend??? Here they sing their version of "Danny Boy" during their Saturday morning performance at the Wharfside Gazebo at TRF. WARNING: this is NOT -- REPEAT, NOT! -- the loveable Irish cliche everyone (non-Keltic) thinks is the acme of Irish music. This is the Bilge Pumps singing, NOT the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!!!
