I did a little research before I decided to write this out so I can have my facts straight, since several butterflies look alike, but I also found something startling.These butterflies, from what I can tell, are Spicebrush Swallowtails. I've seen Pipevine Swallowtails too, but these look more like Spicebrush to me (my first instinct).They look very similar though.They were literally flocking to these flowers. We have more of them around the house, my Mom has them set out here and there. But the butterflies were fighting over this particular bunch for some reason.My Mom and everyone around here call them "tiger lilies", and you can see why. But when I was looking for "Tiger Lily" online I found something different; and also found what this flower may be.I can't confirm it 100%, but it looks like these are "Michigan Lily"s.And apparently, they're actually on the endangered list in some states, and in threatened position in Tennessee, which isn't far off from where I live.So.... Yeah. I didn't know that. I guess we'll just keep on setting out more and more then, lol.At first I wasn't going to add music, but the butterfly wing flaps didn't really transfer over well and the camera zooming in and out made a weird buzzing noise, so I had to add music.(The title sounds too much like a horror flick...............)Enjoy my 2nd insect video.Music: Stickerbrush Symphony / Bramble Blast - Super Smash Bros.
