"All That I Love" was about my first wife. I played on the road, as a soloist, a week or two at a time. Once I played in a hotel in downtown Nashville for two months. That's not good for a marriage. Several members of the cast of "Hee Haw" came in one night. The beautiful weather-girl from the show came up to me and requested a song. I didn't know the song. While I was in Nashville, that time, Buddy Cannon (sometime producer of and co-writer with Kenny Chesney) signed "In The Middle Of A Mem'ry" to Mel Tillis' music publishing company saying: "I'm certain Mel will record this." Tillis passed on my song and his next release was "Coca Cola Cowboy."
