This was done about 2 years ago when I wasn't as eco-friendly as I am now. Basically, I was watching one of my favourite tapes, when I heard the machine groan then something went "snap", I rushed over to the VCR to get the tape out, which was stuck, so I had to open it up to get the tape out. As it had ruined the tape (which I have repaired), I got pretty mad with it, so got the WD-40 out and a lighter, and this is what happened, I actually did have it plugged in to begin with, just to see if there were any fireworks, but it just kept on working, so I unplugged it for safety's sake. Remember; DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME AND DO NOT DO THIS INDOORS IF YOU'RE DIM ENOUGH TO TRY!!!
