some of Petraworld's amateur work1996 - 2004 This is only a limited number of works as more than 14 clay works were stolen (according to the words of the person who took them to another town for firing) and 4 were given as presents, 1 stone (the very first stonecarve piece) was also stolen, one stonecarve is not finished2 were lost while moving from one place to another,drawings and sketches: some destroyed, others given away,1 woodcarve icon is in a church...two wood sculptures - not finished,2 computer drawings are not presented as they are more of pop art styleThe very first photo in this video presents a sculpture which is not my work but a piece I have admired all my life (it belonged to my parents)From 1.38 to 1.55 you can see one of the platan trees in Leptokaria, Greece (300-400 years old) that have greatly inspired me in my wood sculpting and in drawing...The wooden sculptures are carved out/made of full logs (of cylinder shape)The period between 2004 and 2008 was not futile but marked by writing poetry, stories and a novel (only some of the stories are not published)Music I have chosen to present my amateur works:Rimsky-Korsakov Scherezade op.35 excerpt Lent-Andantino Hans Kalafuzs SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra Sergiu Celibidache
