Sign the Galerians Anime Series Petition and help bring Galerians back! http://www.petitiononline.com/Galerian/petition.htmlGalerians Rion was originally a three part OVA released only in Japan, it was later edited and converted into a movie called 'Galerians Rion Director's Cut' in Japan, but for the English release was called 'Galerians Rion'If you know the film off by heart you should notice these changes in these scenes, but if you don't here's some guidance. When it was turned into a one feature length movie instead of three part episodes, some bits were scrapped, most between transitions where a episode ended and began, (eg: End of vol.1, Rion confronting the men in dark coats; Start of vol.2 shots of the house, hall and Rion's room is shown)The previews to vol.2 and vol.3 that played after the credits were also removed in the Movie version; In the OVA every set of credits for each episode is a different shade and rewinds all the events that happened in that episode (after a while this tends to repeat and mix up together) and that note that appears at the start of the Movie appears at the beginning of each episodes, and during the introduction when Rion is laying in the swinging bed, no blue credits appear.The introduction video for the OVA was turned into a 'teaser trailer' in the special features for the English version, if this is the same for the Japanese's 'Director's cut' version it is yet to be confirmed...I don't have it x_xSome things edited were noticeable and not so noticeable (eg: The scene when Rion is walking down the hall, Dr Lem and Birdman aren't heard talking while in the Movie they are, another angle of Birdman was done on their conversation also) there was also a scene of Rion spending longer injecting himself with skip.Cain's scene had the most changes that are the following; different camera angles; there no flashbacks on the other Galerians, the memory of Rion in the pod was a different color and didn't switch to Cain then back to Rion)Less noticeable changes were transitions to scenes (eg: Rita begging Rion to finish her off, in the OVA Rita was shown instantly being thrown back, while in the Movie there is a second delay before Rion strikes the final blow. Another one in the OVA on Rainheart's battle, when the floor crumbles but switches to Rion falling in the next clip while in the Movie he's shown falling also when the floor collapses)Some sounds effects in the Movie were missing in the OVA, (eg: The static sound heard when the camera spun around, the buzzing was barely heard when Rion breaks free from his bed, no music played when Rita threatened to inject herself, and the electricity heard when Cain was strangling Rion is missing) For more missing scenes on Galerians please visit this video :3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IydyO0UOr-w
