WINDS OF CHANGE Fourth CONCERT TOUR:November 2008Triangle Concert TourMusicians without Borders Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly presents the first BH Wind Ensemble THE WINDS OF CHANGE on its new fourth tour The TRINAGLEBosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro. With the new repertoire we want to open up and promote intercultural and interethnic communication and to facilitate the exchange of musical creativity between B&H, Montenegro, Croatia, and the Europe by producing regional concerts of the first B&H wind ensemble the Winds of Change.The regional tour will take place from 10th to 17th November 2008. It will include three WoC live concerts in:1.Trebinje 14th November 2008 (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Omladinski Dom Trebinje, 2.Podgorica 15th November 2008 (Montenegro) Cultural information Center Budo Tomovic3.Dubrovnik 16th November 2008 (Croatia) Theatre Marin Drzic The Winds of Change is now company of twenty musicians coming from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina accompanied by professional musicians from the Spain, The Netherlands, and Israel. This is the 1st Ensemble of its kind in the South East Europe. The ensemble is a blend of woodwind and brass, bass and percussion, piano, voice and viola. WoC concerts are adventures in music and more. For each concert, we introduce new themes that promote national-indigenous music from SEE and celebrate the cultural links between the Balkans, Europe and the World as well as between the orient and occident. Musicians without Borders BiH going beyond the pure performances and strive to connect the diversities we have had before as a value in these countries.The repertoire spans the diverse genre from Classical music (Pedro Iturralde, Rameau, Samuel Barber), Jazz (Klezz99) to Funk(Those Funky Days) and new adventurous arrangements of traditional music form B&H, Croatia and Montenegro. The performance will be quite unique for this region with added elements of ballet dance blend of Oro and Lindjo (traditional dances from Montenegro and Croatia-Dalmatia) and special guest, singer Amira Medunjanin with beautiful songs from these countries.
