Hey Everyone,Here is our entry for the 48HOURS Film Competition in New Zealand this year. As the name suggests, every aspect of the 7-minute film had to be created/edited/produced within a given 48-hour time-period. This year's time-period was between 7pm 18th May, to 7pm 20th May.I just want to thank everyone who took part in the making and supporting of this film, be it through acting, script-writing, making music, operating sound, providing locations, supplying filming equipment (THANK-YOU PANAVISION WELLINGTON!), supplying us with food -- ( Hell's Pizza, Michael's mum, Liz's mum, My mom, Lexie ), providing transport, phoning us with words of encouragement, giving us hugs when we've lost our minds......well, I lost my mind anyway... (hee hee)This was our first year taking part in this competition, and we are all proud of the attempt made. Cacophony Characters, our team, are all Tawa College students, and were all under 18 in the making of the film. Our film competed amongst 130 other Wellington-made films, and competed against 500 films throughout New Zealand. We were fortunate enough to win an Audience Award in our Wellington Heat - in one of 14 Heats. The award includes a subcription to OnFilm Magazine, a box of Mini-DV tapes from Panasonic, 2x complete DVDs of this year's 48HOURS entries, and some other items. There were also points of detail that had to be incorporated into the film cleverly. This year's details were:The prop: A ropeThe quote: "What do you call that?"The character: Jerri Reed - A hyperchondriacOur teams' given genre was "The Crime Movie".Well, that said, I hope enjoy the film! If you have any questions what-so-ever about the film, please do ask!My input into the film - Team Producer, Script-writer, Director, Editor, Cinematographer. Film was shot on a Sony HVR-V1P.Thanks! - Andrew
