The P-16 are a Swiss ground attack jet fighter. The first prototipe are ordered in 1952 and flew in April 1955. Others prototypes are maked in 1956 and 1960.The P-16 was armed with two 30mm Hispano-Suiza HS825 or two Oerlikon KCA cannon, a retractable MATRA launcher for 44 x 68mm rockets, napalm bomb and 80mm rockets.In spite all entusiastic comments and international interests, the P-16 project was stopped in 1958, for political reasons, and definitively cancelled about 1968.Of the five prototypes, remain only one in the Dübendorf museum, near the N-20 "Aiguillon" (Stinger), another Swiss manufactured jet fighter.Il P-16 era un aereo da attacco al suolo di produzione Svizzera.
