Here's a cool moment of my life that I want share with you :1999 : like today , good times .......Zildjian , Paiste , Tama , Sabian , Remo , Mapex , Pearl etc ..... the names that were on my day by day . Money on the pocket , I buyed my drum : a beautiful black Mapex Mars that you'll see on the video . And to transport it to the studio a WV Kombi was buyed also ...I sold it because ( 1 ) I was not more playing everyday and 1 hour/day is the least to the drum itself doesn't forget you , ( 2 ) is very hard to maintain a drum .. transport it .. the pieces - for me - was expensive , ( 3 ) I had not space to set up it nor how to cut of the noise to don't worry my neighbours , ( 4 ) I was wanting an instrument to play everywhere , ( 5 ) I was needing fast money on 1999's . God .. was *very hard* to sell it ! I'd like to give it like a gift for my son , but no all is like we want . I 'hate' the guy that buyed it :)))) !!I miss you 'my' Mapex ......................The video you see here I made on 16 September 2009 and the music was recorded on someday of June 1999 . The music named 'A BIRD' is about freedom . I recorded it on a (!) very simple K7 hand-recorder that was always with me : sorry the quality of the sound . My son was 9 years old when designed the cover and I was only with 8 months of playing and never was taken a lesson with a teacher and did think 'why not ? ' : I sent a copy for the BATERA , an esteemed magazine we have here and - WOW ! - the music was the Demo Of The Month ! Alaor Neves ( a very respectable brazilian drummer ) wrote : " More one drummer influencied by Cozy Powell . It's a drum solo , almost four minutes , where Alex shows his hability on the semi-quavers with the large drum , maitaining the same design , that create a 'mantra' that to wraps , with prominence to the work with the cymbals . Unfortunately the quality of the record is few , confound a lot , is impossible to listen details , but what matter , in this case , is the intention . Really , with the work of the cymbals , there's an impression of a fly , and because this the title 'PASSARO' has meaning . In spite of the precariousness of technical terms , the most important was made , that is the registry of a moment where was many quantidy of expression . Go ahead ! ( Alaor Neves ) "THANKS MAN !!!He said about Cozy Powell because inside the cover was wrote that the music is dedicated for him ( I'm his fan .. do you enjoy the LP 'Rising' , by Rainbow ?? The last track simply rules ... ) .UM PÁSSARO means A BIRD , in portuguese language . I change the name to english because we're on the internet times .. The bird to keep flying on and that drum is on my heart forever . There's more drum solos here and when I have time to create other videos I'll do it to you watch . How knows someday I buy other drum but at this moment I don't think this : I'm very very happy with my guitar and want to do more music with it . After I sold the drum ( the Kombi is no more also - I don't have a car at the moment ) a new window was opened into the strings of the guitar because I focused more and more the music just on a guitar ............... so here I go !

Stere: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SfL7XuIjTs&fmt=18 Band sings "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" by Joe Nichols.Joe Nichols took the roundabout way to country success, scoring his first major hit six years after landing his initial record deal. A native of Rogers, AR, Nichols grew up watching his father play bass in a local country band. He himself played in a rock band during his teenage years but soon came back to country and after high school took a night job as a DJ while supporting himself as a mechanic by day. He met producer Randy Edwards at the latter job, and under Edwards' guidance, he performed regularly and worked on his songwriting. He landed a record deal with Intersound and released his self-titled debut in 1996, naturally with Edwards producing. The single "Six of One, Half a Dozen (Of the Other)" was a minor hit, but the album didn't sell particularly well. It did manage to earn Nichols a shot with Warner Brothers, but a series of label mergers left him out in the cold, and he worked a series of day jobs around Nashville while looking for a new deal. In 2000, he struck up a songwriting partnership with session guitarist Brent Rowan, and two years later he signed with Universal. His label debut, Man with a Memory, was released in 2002, and its lead single, the ballad "The Impossible," went to number three on the country charts, also crossing over to the pop Top 30. In the wake of its success, his first album was reissued under the title Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Another single from Man With a Memory, "Brokenheartsville," became his first number one country hit in early 2003, and it helped send the album into the country Top Ten. The accolades were suddenly flying fast and furious. The Academy of Country Music named Nichols its Top New Male Vocalist, he garnered three Grammy nominations, and Billboard declared "The Impossible the tenth most-played song in 2003. Nichols and his band toured with Alan Jackson through August of that year, and saw the single "She Only Smokes When She Drinks" enjoy similar success at country radio. In September, the buzz around Nichols continued with a nomination from the Country Music Awards for its Horizon New Artist Award. 2004 saw the release of his second disc for Universal South, Revelation, and a holiday album, Traditional Christmas, followed by the Top Ten hit III in 2005. His next record Real Things hit the shelves in 2007 and focused primarily on tender country ballads with a spattering of up-tempo jams.
