In this video I once again utilize the medium to highlight a MOYLATOID classic "Pretend I" to delve further into the realm of self absorption. I also chose to drag into this absorption some passing fancy's who include Sue Gillmore and John Race some footage from a boat ride they spoiled us with. Cristina kicking and screaming is included goose stepping toward the boat full of gooberness. Marilyn Odonnell is included as she tours the USA. As she toured she stopped long enough to give me a painting. This painting is delicate and quite beautiful and I use it as a prop in the video but will do it more justice by posting it very soon, thank you Melby Nebraska. The lyrics are ones written with lots of haste and I pretend mean more than they do. Thats the rock n roll dream. I think. Also John Robson's out building is included by detail. This detail is a lovely part of a structure not long for this world I hope he keeps these parts. (thats a dare) There is some brief stolen olympic footage and some details of a silver plate with age turned stunning in it's filth. Some of my painting stills, and heaps of trash from a demolished building. A glass globe of John and Sue. A hunk of Swish Chard from my neighbors garden. A still photo of an alter in a Brazilian church. And some fun with my macbook photo booth. Before I forget some spray painted dumpster in Vancouver BC. That about covers it. Oh and a Brazilian slum (shit out of luck)
