Anyone who's seen him perform live has seen him rock turntables as a part of his set. He also has a self-described "stupidly huge" record collection. For years he was the host of the Bassment, a hip hop radio show on Halifax's CKDU, under the moniker DJ Critical. But it has been years since he's set aside the anecdotes and the slide guitar and just cold-rocked a dance floor as a DJ.Hunnicutt and Co-op first approached Buck 65 about coming back to Winnipeg but as a DJ in June during the Jazz Winnipeg Festival. He instantly fell in love with the idea. And now it's official: Winnipeg's favourite disc-jock duo have coerced Buck's DJ persona out of hibernation for a special one-of-a-kind party on New Year's Eve!And if that wasn't enough, The fellas have also added Winnipeg's smokin' hot salsa combo Papa Mambo to the bill!
