A few friends and I organized this event at my school expressing our outrage/sorrow that Prop 8 passed (California). By Prop 8 passing, equality basically died. So we got all these students and teachers to wear black, mourning the death of equality.This is the first video I've ever done, so I'm kinda nervous and mumble a little. Bear with me. ;-)Music: Kotaro Oshio-Canon (from "Dramatic")*Original idea of wearing black came from an official facebook group. Pics, speech, and name, however, were all my creation (with help from Viet for getting the word around). *This video is dedicated to Tyler Oakley and the other 4 Awesome Gays. Tyler's "Hate Speech" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTdCa6vbvTk) and "Be Yourself" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=limL1tTYJz8&feature=channel) videos, (along with other causes and videos) are what really inspired me to start this. I really adore Tyler because he is so authentic and funny, but at the same time really stands for a good cause. Thanks for being one of my inspirations.
