Kacey Musgraves is an emerging singer/songwriter who is quietly making herself known on the Texas music scene. She started playing music at an early age, performing western music and yodeling her way into appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America and the 2002 Winter Olympics. Now, at age 18, Kacey's music blends elements of musical influences like Dolly Parton, Steve Earle, Tom Petty and Michelle Branch with a love for good ol' country music. Kacey enjoys performing her music live and plays the guitar, mandolin and harmonica. She is one of those performers who seems to make new friends -- and fans -- wherever she goes.
