Haley called, knocking on Bridget's bedroom door for possibly the hundredth time.She sighed and looked at Alexandria for some help.Alexandria returned her look from where she was sitting on the floor, leaning against the door frame and shrugged."say something" Haley said quietly to her"nothing I say will make her open this door" she whispered backHaley kicked her softly in the leg"fine" Alexandria said, rubbing her thigh at the point of impact"we know your in there B. we can hear the crinkling of a bag of chips" she yelledThe rustling on the other side of the door stopped abruptly but was soon replaced by loud musicHaley looked down right insulted "oh for heaven's...we're just trying to help you here!"Alexandria stood up and took a turn at knocking on the door"we've brought you ice cream!"Haley gaped at Alexandria'that's the best you've got?' she mouthed to herAlexandria shrugged looking completely lostThe loud music from Bridget's room stopped playing and the sound of feet padding on wood grew louder with each step Bridget took towards the door.Alexandria and Haley held their breaths in anticipation"what kind of ice cream" Bridget finally asked after a long pause of silenceAlexandria was too shocked by the break through to give a response so Haley quickly covered for her"the good stuff of course" she said immediately "uh....Ben & Jerry's..."The door creaked open a fraction and Bridget's puffy eyes examined the two of them."alright" she said "show it to me""er....." she looked at Alexandria for help but Alexandria just stared back completely stumped "it's in the freezer?""you took too long to answer....LIARS!"She made to close the door again but Alexandria quickly stuck her foot in the opening and together, she and Haley pushed it open.Bridget put up a fight at first but that didn't last very long"fine" she said slumping onto her bed when Haley and Alexandria finally burst in "you win. Welcome, to my humble abode"Her room looked like the lays factory had thrown up on it. Most of everything was covered in empty snack bags and soda cans were spread generously on her floor."Please make yourselves at home. There's a chair or something to sit on underneath all of this somewhere and my bed of pain and misery is always available""I don't know about you" Alexandria said to Haley "but that bed of pain and misery sounds delightful. I call dibs"Bridget narrowed her eyes at her"are you poking fun at my pain?""No! No! not that, never that...just trying to lighten the mood. Haley asked"okay...so things got a little out of hand for a bit. But now I'm fine because I've made a decision that will remove any possibilities of my getting hurt again"
