Hopefully this video gets to stay, unlike the removal of the cover song we did called "Gloria" (as requested by Van Morrison's legal handlers). It don't matter, because the version that got removed blew away the original anyway. Onto other matters: THIS video is from a May 2008 live outdoor show in Fulton NY where I filled in to help my friends in the oldies/classic rock band "Revival". The song I'm singing is called "NO MATTER WHAT", originally recorded by the 1960's or early 1970's band called Badfinger, who were "discovered" by George Harrison of the Beatles. I actually had my acoustic guitar cranked up to sound like an electric guitar in this song (listen to that rockin' intro riff!), because I'm really an electric guitar guy. I play lead guitar on my original songs at my website Vanesoloman.com and elsewhere, but just not with this particular band. I wanted to see if I could actually get through an entire gig playing an acoustic guitar that was all jacked up! Hope you like this video, but the sound quality (and of course visual quality) was FAR better in person! If you're in the Central NY area (Oswego, Mexico NY, Pulaski, etc), you've got to check out the band Revival! Every once in a while you just might see me on stage jamming with them again. They're awesome.
