A singing telegram for friends far and near... listen to the lyrics! A favourite folksong by the late Albertan Folk singer Joan MacIsaac (from her album, Wintersong, copyright 1982, Mad Mansion Music). I haven't heard anyone else sing it since she died in the 80s, and it's too good a song to be forgotten, in my humble opinion. I like to sing it for special people in my life.Recorded on a gorgeous autumn day in the park across from our house. It was hard not to laugh as I sang, because there was a fly bothering my camera operator. If you listen, you can hear her blowing at the fly.
