Paulina yells at Jake to stop following her, but he refuses, and asks her if she meant what she said about Artie the drug dealer being more real than Jake is. Paulina says yes, she meant it, and then goes on a rampage across the set, cranking up the music, flipping all kinds of switches on the special effects board so there's the sound of thunder and the flashing of lights, and freaking out Jake because the props and backdrops she's punching and throwing around are rented. Jake says he doesn't keep anything from Paulina. At her incredulous look, he adds, "Anymore." He says he's an open book to her and his guts are all over the floor. Paulina says she should be so lucky, and turns on the fan, then holds a crate of feathers in front of it and tells Jake that he's a lot of hot air and horse feathers as the feathers go flying all over the studio. Jake tackles Paulina to the ground and tells her he won't let her up until she admits he's the most real man she's ever known. Paulina says if that's the case, then they'll die right there. Jake says that with him, she knows what she gets, and she may not like it, but it's real. "You think this is real?" she scoffs."I know it is," he replies, and they look at each other.
