SOUNZ Online developed data model software for the cataloguing of music and to digitise the collection of content. The site incorporates many new innovations including faceted searching, digital samples, downloads and full e-commerce facilities. Influenced by the work of colleagues at the Australian Music Centre the site's music data is underpinned with FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records), a conceptual model developed by the International Federation of Library Associations. www.sounz.org.nz

This movie is on sound hardware emulator "hoot" with playing StarForce by tehkan."Hoot" is the sound emulator of Japanese old personal computers ,old comsumer game hardwares and so on."Hoot" supports officially the above-mentioned and unofficially arcade game hardwares. You can see a hoot's support list with command "hoot -list".If you want "hoot", you can visit the site, "http://dmpsoft.s17.xrea.com/ ".But hoot is maintained by only a few persons individually, I think we should make an effort not to bother them.If you want to enjoy hoot as an arcade sound emulator, you need to make music list files with xml. Please refer to wiki ( http://www19.atwiki.jp/hoot2ch/ ), and I think the site is very useful. To make hoot play music, music data is required, for ex. rom image, game disc and so on.I am sorry to say that you must prepare it by yourself. You can choose "M1" as an arcade sound emulator, but I recommend "hoot" because of its quite clear sound at high frequency.Hoot's good setting is shown at http://home.att.ne.jp/wood/ryo_taka/hoot/hoot_m1/hoot_m1.html (sorry, in Japanese)Sorry, I'm poor at English. Please enjoy retro game muisc! :)
