"Please Mr. Postman" was the debut single by The Marvelettes for the Tamla Motown label, notable as the first Motown song to reach #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart. The single achieved this position in late 1961.It hit #1 on the R&B chart as well."Please Mister Postman" became a number one hit again in early 1975,when The Carpenters cover of the song also reached the top position of the Billboard Hot 100.The Beatles included "Please Mister Postman" as part of their live act in 1962,performing it regularly at the Cavern Club.By the time it was recorded for their second album,With the Beatles,it had been dropped from their set,and required some work in the studio to bring it up to an acceptable standard.Ian MacDonald criticised their version for having a "wall of sound" and for a "general airlessness".

*Disclaimer*This is just an amateur workout I came up with hoping I could get fit just through parkour conditioning exercises. So please don't expect anything amazing in this video... at least not yet!I am currently 5'7" & about 160 lbs. My goal is to hit 145 lbs and have the ability to dunk on a standard height basketball rim (I am 4 inches from being able to touch rim)My hope for these videos is that more experienced traceurs/freerunners could give me tips and/or advice on training, diet, conditioning, technique or form.Music: Carpenters - We've Only Just Begun(Everyone always uses high intensity rock songs for their parkour videos. I thought I'd change it up a bit haha)
