Son plumage d'un beau rouge vif flamboyant attire immanquablement le regard sur lui. Il est très méfiant, discret et ne se laisse en aucun cas approcher, mais je dois dire que j'ai eu de la chance car il n'a pas semblé inquiet de ma présence car il est resté assez longtemps pour que je puisse prendre plusieurs photos et une vidéo ou bien il semble apprécier la musique de Paul McCartney...lol Cet oiseau est toujours présent aux mangeoires en hiver, au lever du jour et au crépuscule. Son chant est superbe, vous l'entendrez au lever et à la fin du jour.
