Oh noes, Abyss has set an oil refinery on fire and it's up to our good ol' snow girl Nayuki to stop this gooey menace! This Abyss by Sludge is far tougher that his fellow bosses Apocalypse and Onslaught as well as the previous Abyss who only had one form. Why? Well, to start, you have to fight ALL three forms instead of one... and unlike Onslaught, that happens in a SINGLE round! Yep, that also means that you have to fight him "six" times and that he gets three lifebars while you have only one with no chance of recovering your health 'cept with any methods your character has (such as Recoil Guard and the wazoo). Thankfully, the author did add two other CNS files for him that you can switch to that will give you a health bonus or recover you back to full between forms (This ain't the case here though.). Let's do a run-down of his three selves:Form 1 (Living Armor): The one form that is most familiar in MUGEN. I easily tore his down by running back and forth and jumping to hit his head, since his attacks either have a startup time and/or leave him vulnerable. Plus, he has no easy way to prevent you to jump to the other side too.Form 2 (Green Goo Man): "Hahahahaha." Ack, I hate this form the most. This guy's a keep-away freak, shooting beams, flamethrowers, trapping bubbles and a lotsa lasers flying in several directions to push you back! I had to duck to kick him bottom to beat him and even then, coming up to him is the problem as he will usually use his flamethrower to counter. And still, his laser attack can always come up while I'm hitting him (Remember, all three forms can't be flinched). Also, he got to play some mindgames on me with his bubbles!Form 3 (Big Red Monster): Oh, how did Abyss get so damn ugly quickly? Now he has attacks that take up a lot of space due to his size such as a ground-pounding punch, flying thingies coming from behind him, a huge flame breath and his own Venom Fang. However, that comes at the cost of being a big-ass target... and the fact that I used my clock super here in both rounds didn't favor him neither.Stage: Raging Inferno (Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter)Music: Beowulf Slays the Beast (Beowulf. As in the 2007 CGI movie.)
